Northern Exposure

For years now, maybe as far back as before Trump’s first campaign, I have been hearing his mantra about making Mexico build a wall between our countries and making them pay for it, too. There seems to be many Trump supporters out there that pretend to have common sense, but aside from the other hate-filled statements by their leader, this Mexico-built wall has to be the most idiotic phlegm spewing from his and their mouths. My question to them is, “Who is going to build and pay for our NORTHERN BORDER WALL?!”

At first, I thought, surely, they realize that non-citizens from every country in the world, including Canadians, pop into our country on a daily basis. Are we to consider them illegal aliens? Yes? If so, then we will have to have a serious talk with the Canadian leaders to try to convince them to build, at least, as beautiful and big a wall as the Mexicans are being asked to build. And, what about our tourists, which makes up a huge portion of income to our country? Are we going to tell people of other countries that they are not welcome here? Because, for the life of me, I can’t imagine how our police can keep track of all of these tourists and how long they stay here. They come here, look around, decide they like it, and they over-stay their visas. Do we tell these people that they are not welcome to spend their money in our country?

And, what about those people that contribute to our country in the military that are not “legal” citizens? Or, how about those entrepreneurs, business owners, or brilliantly talented scientists that stay here and bring strength to our competitive advantage and standing in the world? Many doctors are here who are not Americans that have specific skills in surgeries and medical practices saving millions of American lives. Do we tell these people, too, that they are not welcome in our borders?

Here is the real truth about immigration. The reason Americans cannot compete with the illegal alien population in this country is because these people are forced to take lower wages than American citizens. They are also forced to take pay ‘under the table’ at a much lower wage than a citizen. And they are encouraged by corrupt business owners to keep quiet about these sub-human practices or else get turned into the deportation forces.

Here is the solution for this activity which will stop human trafficking as migrants will simply apply for sub-citizenship at the border or before they even get there. Sign up all illegal immigrants into a program that is a clear pathway to citizenship by making them a sub-citizen first. Any illegal alien who does not wish to be made a sub-citizen may be immediately deported, even those who have been in this country for years. Make them learn English, pay income taxes, including into the Social Security and Medicare tax programs, and give them a payment plan to pay for their integration into our society. Or if they are sponsored by a company or town, their sub-citizen status may already be applied.

This method will allow all non-citizens in America the ability to apply for regular citizenship and be legal residents paying their fair share into our tax system. They no longer need worry about being deported. They will have all the rights of a regular citizen except that they cannot vote or seek political offices. The ability to vote is a privilege given only to documented regular citizens, which is a goal of many immigrants living here. Just because you are an immigrant does not mean that you are an unlawful horrible person. If you are not a Native American Indian, then YOU are an immigrant, too.

Also, make it a crime punishable by a hefty fine and/or jail time for any employer that hires an illegal alien instead of an American worker unless they are in the sponsorship program. This process of hiring Americans first will ensure that citizens have the first chance to win the job. To achieve a fair outcome, the employer would necessarily need to have the job or position open for a mandatory period of time and they would also need to advertise that position in a prominent publication or with the workforce office located in the town where the job opening is being offered. This is a fair and humane way to end the immigration controversy. Illegal aliens or undocumented immigrants will want to go back home if they cannot get that job away from an American citizen. Voila - no more illegal immigrant problem!

By the way, I have heard it said that American citizens will not perform low-wage work and that is the reason the Mexicans or other illegal aliens get the job. The real truth is that if we pay illegal aliens at the same rate as American citizens, then give the American the opportunity to land the job ahead of the immigrant, we will lift the illegal alien out of poverty and more Americans will have a job.

Another problem we have in the United States with workers is that it is thought that there are some residing here hiring illegal “family” to run their multiplexed enterprises here hiding them in the country as they come across the border. The underground railroad is not dead. Safehouses and weigh stations exist all over the states. They pack these migrants into any house or transportation until they move them to their new unpaid job. Yes, I said unpaid. If the worker does their job, they are promised to move their entire family into the country to work, get a little money, a car to drive, and a house to live in if they continue to work for the mob.

Want to know the real scary truth about migrants and immigration? From what I have personally witnessed, whole neighborhoods of people from certain immigrant countries established here have a very sophisticated human trafficking system that is almost like a sort of government control over migrants and illegal workers. THAT is what the massive human trafficking is about. If the migrant does not conform to this system of unpaid, overworked stacking, the cartel knows it and prevents them from crossing the border or kills their family in Mexico or other territories while they are in our country.

These gangs not only move drugs, illegal ingredients, and people across the border, they set up in small centrally located towns to host this activity. They may appear to work for companies like chicken, pig, or turkey processors, but if you open your eyes, you will see that they live in 1970's old dilapidated one- or two-bedroom 12 x 50 trailer houses in a Hispanic neighborhood and drive a Hummer with chrome wheels and a boombox. All of their vehicles graduate to the chrome wheels to alert others that this vehicle is in their system and to leave it alone. At the border, border agents have found massive quantities of illegal drugs like fentanyl within the tires on vehicle wheels. They slashed open the tires and literally pounds of this substance were stuffed inside.

Depending on the hierarchy or simple vehicle preference, no matter how old, the vehicle may be the most expensive or cheapest. I have seen where they take beat up junk yard vehicles, mostly pickup trucks with crew cabs, and bang out the dents, color them gold, and install high-powered engines, police hubs, springs, and axles. I have also witnessed them color vehicles the same make and color as border patrol vehicles without the emblems until they get down to the border. They probably stick emblems on the sides to fool real border agents. This may be to feed their human trafficking process. What is so heavy that every vehicle in the gang system must be so tricked out? The town, usually on the main artery highway and containing a chicken plant, is taken over by the gang, even in its police force, because it just looks like they work at the factory. You may recognize this activity if you actually live in a chicken plant town like I do.

Most times, they move, make, and distribute drugs within this migrant system without any involvement from authorities. They threaten non-Mexican citizens in the area or simply kill them outright if they think someone called the FBI or ICE. This gang is so pervasive here that they have infiltrated our very legal system. Judges, politicians, and especially the Chamber of Commerce, are all being stacked to make them look legit. Their illegal children benefit from our generosity, too. They freely attend our schools and get government assistance which sustains their activities for the gang. If you are not a sponsor of migrants or immigrants, you may be alarmed by this news. You should be. Their ultimate goal and intention is to take over the White House and as many positions of authority as they can, change laws, and dictate their rules to the rest of us. And you thought is was only CPAC, Russians, and Trump supporters who are a threat to our democracy! I bet when this tidbit of information gets to the right group of patriots, they may decide to stop or track every single illegal person in America.

So, people do not want to allow immigration into the United States because they fear job competition, which is fair. They do not want thousands and thousands flooding our borders taking over their town and they support Trump and his border wall to keep immigrants out thinking this will stop the flow. But the truth is that there are already 11 to 18 million illegal aliens living in the United States of America. If you are really serious about border control, it is too late. And word has gotten out about the stacking process for migrants or immigrants. Indio’s, Japanese, Chinese, Europeans, and especially Africans, have all gotten in on the action. The melting pot is boiling.

I say we should take pictures, video tape the applicant telling their name, where they are from, their education or experience - even who they worked for not in this country, document everything and everyone, who they are, where they come from, sign them up for social security and other programs, then tax the hell out of them. "Yeah, come on in, the water’s fine…what did you say your name is and who do you associate with? What is your address? And you’ll be getting some tax forms in the mail." I say we should completely open the borders, both of them. Because the door to the chicken yard has been left open for decades. Signing people up who cross our border into the sub-citizenship program does require an address in the U.S.A. This way, we can communicate with the applicant any changes in their status. The sponsorship program smooths the way for permanent residency without the worry of deportation.

What should happen is that we fine and jail (longer than a year) any employer, no matter if they are citizens or not, if we (any government agency will do) find any non-documented untaxed person working in their business. By God, we want what’s ours, what’s yours, and whatever we can squeeze from your pocket so that we can fund our police force. And if you do live in a 1970's trailer house and drive a Hummer, the IRS will be knocking on your door or raiding your establishment. If you refuse to pay up, we will send agents to clean out your house or business and sell off everything you owned on our government-run website.

They say there are not enough workers in this country. Companies compete to hire and retain a workforce that allows them to sustain or grow their operation. In fact, our supply chain needs more workers to maintain our nation’s demands on the economy.  Using a sponsorship program, an immigrant may apply to be sponsored by a company or a town moving them from the border directly into a job opportunity. The company can pay a $500.00 sign-on bonus, put their worker in a local rent house, and pay for transportation from the border to the company town. They can decide to pay for moving expenses if they are a sponsor making sure that applicants can bring their life's accumulation of assets and their family with them to this country.

The town may use the sponsorship program to lure business owners of another country who may wish to relocate in America, but need to be sponsored so that they can sign up as a sub-citizen. They may install the business owner in one of the many empty downtown buildings and help them set up shop. They may also decide to provide an incentive moving bonus to the sub-citizen to encourage commerce in their city. It would not be uncommon for the town to contract with the new business owner to stay on in the town for a period of five to ten years to assure established residence. Even out-country artists or musicians or influencers may receive this type of sponsorship into a city or town. They would bring needed culture to the area and possibly increase tourism.

Recognizing and allowing the illegal population a sub-citizen status will eliminate most human trafficking as aliens will simply apply for sponsorship before making the trip here. Also, did you know that there is a drastic shortage of over-the-road truck drivers? What the current administration has proposed and is implementing is to retrain people to be able to work in industries that are more in line with the future of our country. Knowing the education, training, or expertise of possible sub-citizens helps our economy grow without necessarily adding substantially to the current population.

This training and retraining program will raise wages across the board for all Americans as the prices of goods and services here go down. With the influx of new workers onto the market, we can fill all of those supposedly unwanted positions with actual citizens. For the trucking industry, this means that goods will get from one place to another more quickly because there will be more truckers vying for the load. This also brings the price of the demanded product down because it is easier to get it to the customer. You can imagine how this process also works for other businesses, especially the new manufacturing that is about to occur here, as the workforce increases in tandem with the demand for products that now exists or will be made in the future. The new programmers will be able to make data explode as they collaborate to build bigger, faster, and cheaper products. And so on.

Finally, I hope that people can see the necessity for an educated and thoughtful program to deal with the immigration ‘crisis’. The real problem with immigration is not how we grant amnesty. It is how we profit from the process. We should be proud that people want to come here to stay and contribute their skills, abilities, and franchise to our foundation. Besides, as an original American Indian myself, I have a real argument against illegal aliens and immigrants taking over my land. If you are not an American Indian, you are an illegal alien. Get out! No, I mean it. Get out of my country! If you don’t, me and my family of American Indians may just decide to have you build a wall and pay for it, too.
